Ordered this to be able to keep in my purse or autism alert wallet. It’s useful because of its size and explains about autism. It has been helpful in situations if I’ve became distressed in a shop, at an appointment or in general because I can show it to someone if they are trying to help/assist me. It helps explain what I verbally struggle to do, especially in challenging situations.
The size is ideal as it’s about the same size as a bank card and I can keep it in purse or autism alert wallet. The little part I keep on my lanyard so people can see it. The colours are brill and I’m fond of the curly hair brand as I’ve found other items of the curly hair project very useful.

Brilliant, my Fiancée has Dyspraxia, with some Asperger’s and anxiety traits. This little card just sets everything out in a clear and concise way, hopefully it will never be needed, but knowing she has it provides both of us with some reassurance. I love my card! I am 24 and fully independent but this was a life saver when I went on holiday and got very overwhelmed in the airport! It’s two part feature means I keep half on my car keys and so if I was in an accident and shut down they’d be able to identify pretty quickly that I have ASD

My daughter is on a part time timetable at mainstream secondary school due to autism – she is very high functioning but gets hugely anxious even at the thought of talking to strangers or if she might be doing something wrong – with this in her pocket she can deal with anyone approaching her and talking/asking her questions without her having to say a word – it has my number on it so I know if anything goes really wrong for her she would just be able to point at the number and get someone to call. Everything a total stranger talking to an individual with autism would need to know, in a few short, easy to understand sentences! 6 months later she says she has used it when classmates ask awkward questions about why so is “weird”- she finds it hilarious to just put the card down in front of them and watch them be the ones then getting awkward!!!
