Webinars

Learn about autism from your computer or mobile

We understand that sometimes it’s not convenient to attend training in person. We of course especially understand the difficulties that autistic individuals face, which can make attending face to face training hard. But we don’t want you to miss out. So we’re pleased to be able to run webinars which means that you can learn from wherever you are in the world!

What is a webinar?

A webinar is live web-based video online learning that uses the internet to connect us to you. You will be able to see us and hear us speaking as well as see our slideshow.

There are also interactive features that you can use to ask questions and ‘chat’ (type) with us. When we can, we include Q&A sessions at the end to answer your questions too.

How do I connect to a webinar?

If you’ve never participated in a webinar before it’s easy to feel unsure about how it is going to work. We use a software called ClickMeeting.

It is a web-based software so you do not need to download anything. It works on PC and Mac computers.

It also works on mobiles and tablets. If you wish to participate using this sort of device, you will need to download the ClickMeeting app from the App Store or Google Play.

If you have booked your ticket from us for the webinar, you will be emailed one or two days before the webinar is due to run. The email will contain instructions on how to log in to the webinar. It’s as simple as clicking a link that will take you to the ClickMeeting webpage or the ClickMeeting app.
