What is it like to be autistic? - Webinar
Socialising & Autism - Webinar
We understand that sometimes it’s not convenient to attend training in person. We of course especially understand the difficulties that autistic individuals face, which can make attending face to face training hard. But we don’t want you to miss out. So we’re pleased to be able to run webinars which means that you can learn from wherever you are in the world!
A webinar is live web-based video online learning that uses the internet to connect us to you. You will be able to see us and hear us speaking as well as see our slideshow.
There are also interactive features that you can use to ask questions and ‘chat’ (type) with us. When we can, we include Q&A sessions at the end to answer your questions too.
If you’ve never participated in a webinar before it’s easy to feel unsure about how it is going to work. We use a software called Zoom.
It is a web-based software so you do not need to download anything. It works on PC and Mac computers.
It also works on mobiles and tablets. If you wish to participate using this sort of device, you will need to download the Zoom app for your Android or iOS device.
If you have booked your ticket from us for the webinar, you will be emailed before the webinar is due to run (usually on the day of the webinar). The email will contain instructions on how to log in to the webinar. It’s as simple as clicking a link that will take you to the webpage or the app.
Yes. If you cannot join the live event, we will send you a link to the video recording which you can access for 3 days after the webinar.
If you have any further concerns or questions, please email [email protected]
We look forward to you joining us for some wonderful online learning!
“Just to say thank you for tonight’s webinar, learned a lot of helpful tips tonight. My husband also did the webinar tonight and he said it was excellent too, we will definitely be signing up for more. Getting out to do training is pretty hard, this is definitely a more easier way for us to learn how to help our daughter, so thank you worth every penny and more!”
